 Casa Mariluna has fantastic views of the ocean, beach, and Sayulita Bay from all rooms. The home features a large pool, which lies partly within the house, overlooking the ocean and gardens below. Mariluna accommodates six adults comfortably. Given the design and fine decor, only well supervised children over 12 years of age welcomed.
Car rentals, taxi service, ATV’s and golf carts are all available to rent in town. However, it is only about a 10 minute leisurely walk along the coconut palm lined beach, or the newly paved road, to the first restaurants, shops, and surf break. It is only another five minutes to the lively town center. There are many interesting shops and fine and varied restaurants in Sayulita.
Expansive ocean and bay views lie before you as you enter Mariluna through a large walled entrance into a classic portico presenting you to the central fountain area, which is surrounded by the beautifully arched columns of the open living room and dining area.
There is a queen size bedroom and bath next to the pool and two larger king size bedrooms on the opposite side of the house. All bedrooms have attached private tiled bathrooms, plus there is a fourth marble tiled bathroom off the pool. If need be, one of bedrooms can be converted into two twins. A staircase winds around a black flagstone tower waterfall to the upper bedroom, a half story above. All bedrooms have air conditioning, fans, and fantastic views. There is a totally separate second story apartment with it’s own street entrance, which is sometimes used by the owner.
Airport pickup can be arranged with an English speaking driver who can meet you with a sign with your name, provide water and beer for your 40 minute ride to the house, and stop at the large Mega store on the way, if you wish.
Maru, the very capable property manager, will be there to meet you, and speaks both English and Spanish. She will help you get comfortable, and answer any questions you may have. Sara, the charming housekeeper is also a very good cook and can be hired to prepare delicious local cuisine for you at home.
Casa Mariluna is a tranquil, elegant yet a comfortable, spacious retreat where body and soul can listen to and watch the ocean waves, the whales and dolphins, exotic jungle and seabirds, and magnificent sunsets. Enjoy the peace and harmony of nature. Casa Mariuna is a perfect place to relax, yet have easy access to all that Sayulita has to offer.
